called the town Juvavum. On the beginning of the 8th
century St. Rupert after becoming bishop choosed Juvavum
of the site of his basilica and named the city Salzburg (Salt

Krems belongs to the oldest and nicest towns in the Austria.
The oldest written reference to this Danube town in the Wachau
valley dates 995. There are prehistorical findings from the ice
time here, later settlement traces of the Teutons and Slavs.

Finds prove that Eisenstadt was already populated in ancient
Halstatt period. Celts and the Romans built his settlements
here too, later came Germanic tribes, Huns, Lombards, Avars,
Bavarii. In the Annals 1118 it is a settlement as "castrum
ferreum" recorded and refers iron mining & trade in this area.
Today Eisenstadt is (sometimes called "Haydn city") a beautiful
smaller city with a population of about 12000, which is always
worth a trip - the culture and history have high priority here.

Hallstat is a small village on the Halstätter See lake in the
Salzkammergut - a tourist region with 54 villages near Salzburg,
which spread out to Grimmning, Almtal, Vockla and Dachstein.
The archaeological finds (Mondsee culture & Halstatt culture)
prove that the area was already populated in the Neolithic
times. Good conditions for heath vacation. Whole holiday area
is also known as ski & snowboard world and cross-country
skiing world.
Zell am See is a well-known international spa and ski resort
situated 80 km from Salzburg. Together with its neighbour
Kaprun they form the "Europa Sportregion" which is one of the
most important tourist centers in Austria. Besides skiing, the
region offers a diversity of other sport activities. In winter:
skating on the frozen lake, snow-rafting, sledging or nordic
walking; in summer you are offered a variety of water sports:
boat rental, water skiing, diving, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing,
fishing and rafting. Also 2 golf courses are here. You can enjoy
cycling or mountain biking here too. The highest waterfalls in
Europe - Krimml Waterfalls are only 55 km away, the
Grossglockner hill & Pasterze Glacier is also close.
Baden is located 26 km south of Vienna. The warm sulphurous
springs have been known for 5000 years and have formed the
economic basis of the health resort. In the year 1480 emperor
Friedriech III granted the city rights to Baden. In K & K times
Baden was also a popular resort and has nothing lost from its
charm and flair at present. Healing water, culture, wine and the
game formed the city and still dominate the leisure activities in
the city. Excellent conditions for health and wellness vacation
with sports activities such as golf, beach volleyball, cycling,
tennis, squash, bowling. balloon flights, football, handball etc...
