This is a great little airport, but... First, Burlington International Airport parking is dreadful, you'll have to drive up to the roof to find parking. Second, United is now below the standard of many Banana Republic airlines. Oh wait, I forgot about U.S. Air, which a friend calls "useless airlines". Anyway, as first class, United Gold members with a young baby, they could not figure our how to issue a boarding pass.  When we missed our flight after waiting 40 minutes for them to figure out the machines, they were then incapable of finding another flight or issuing tickets.  When we complained, they called the Police!  The police in turn apologized and joked that United used them as their customer service agents! These little probs are with United actually, and not with the airport itself, and it has been pointed out to me that if you're dealing with a jerk, they are almost certainly not locals. Of course, you know Burlington's not exactly Gotham city, so you won't have too many BTV airport hotels to choose from, but there are nice clean little  local places to eat and to hotel it up, if you like.

BTV is kinda cute small airport with generally friendly staff. Getting through check in was a bit longer than I had anticipated for a small airport because they only had one or two people working at the time with several computers not open for check in. Other then that, everything else was quick and easy- security, boarding, etc. If you're there for a while, find a rocking chair to sit in.They also have massage chairs galore.Compared to other airports, I must admit  Burlington's is a breath of fresh air. From the rocking chairs in the walkway to the garage, to the free wifi, to the sheer simplicity & friendliness of (almost - I'm talking to you, United) everyone there, the place is  nice to travel to & from.
