Here's what I love: security lines are speedy. If there are 50 people in line at a time, they get more people on the case.  Why can't they do that everywhere?  The longest I've waited here has been 15 minutes.  There is no status line; but there is free wifi.

Here's what you need to know when your flight is messed up: you'd better have a phone handy.  The two gate agents get swamped and in order to rebook you will spend 2 hours if you're at the back of the line with every other poor schlub.  Just call your airline, it is much faster.  Then you can go to the bar and happily enjoy your overpriced beer while you wait for your late arriving plane from SFO.

Here's the scoop on getting your rental car: go down the escalator, turn left and voila, magic: real on-site rental car facilities! Woot! Once you get your key you don't have to take a shuttle or go to some far off sketchy part of town to actually get into your car and get you to your location.  There is a gas station right out front of the airport to refill your car on the return, so don't get taken for the prepaid gas! Long-term Boise Airport parking is about $9 a day, and even though this is a quiet town, there are  many conveniently located Boise Airport hotels. This airport is really easy to get in and get out; not quite as quirky or endearing as Wings, but not too far behind either.
