Plan all you like, but on the day of your cruise you can be sure that everything that can go wrong will go wrong. You'll lose your papers and your glasses, the dog will get sick,  you'll get stuck in traffic. Hey, if the traffic's bad enough, you'll miss the cruise - this has happened to many, with plane tickets as well. And forget about cruise parking. We found a way around this little certainty of life by taking advantage of park and fly packages - you know (and if you don't, you should), you go to nice little hotel the night before you sail, you have everything with you in the room so even if you wanted to its hard to get yourself into the usual last-minute troubl; and best of all, you leave your car in hotel parking for the whole cruise for free, take a free shuttle to the cruiseport so you can relax and leave the driving stress to someone else. it really is like starting your vacation early. We arrived at Boston Cruiseport refreshed and happy. And we spent less than if we'd just paid to park. Can't beat that.
