Cinntucky is a nice, clean, airport.  Definitely not one where you can  spend a 4 hour, though.  Yes, they have a very nice bookstore, a decent food court and very lovely bathrooms to kill time, but sometimes, that's not enough. After a few hours I saw someone laughing hysterically for no reason, and this is not NYC, after all. Alrightie then, the airport itself is pretty nice and that's what this review is about.

The staff was friendly. I think they could definitely have a little more restaurant options in there but that's what we get for trying to save money. Overall, I didn't mind the airport, very easy to navigate. What I did mind is the signal that we DIDN'T get - and nowadays, not having 4G on your phone/iPad/laptop, is just too much to ask. So work on that Cinntucky. Oh and get some more comfortable seating.

And, the place is a ghost town. Ghost town! They've completely closed down an entire Terminal, and closed one of the Concourses in the remaining terminal.  The number of shops, restaurants, and eating options are abysmal and few. And there is not free WiFi outside of baggage claim (and who in the world sits in baggage claim to do work...)

Here are some reasons I dislike CVG:
* Ghost town (did I say that? Ok, cause you can't say it enough times)
* Significantly more expensive to fly out of than both Dayton (45 minutes from Cincinnati) and Louisville (~ a little less than 2 hours from Cincinnati)
* Almost no airline choices anymore, except Delta( you know, competition is a good thing)

Seriously, you know it is bad when people talk about driving to LOUISVILLE to board a flight instead of using CVG. You also have that Delta monopoly and the arrogantly high ticket prices that go along with it working against you. Long-term Cincinnati Kentucky International Airport parking , as well as rental cars, are located a short bus ride away, but already I just don't want to hear it. I just book a park and fly package and stay at a CVG Airport hotel.

Do I really need a bus ride too?
