The first thing you will notice is the big, creepy blue demon horse statue from your nightmares with the red laser eyes. The art inside is equally klaus kinski-esque. Maybe this is Dante's inferno, in the sense that with 53+ square miles, you may never find your way out. And also, how much fun is it to watch 6-8 TSA agents loafing around and joking while you wait and wait and they absolutely will not open another line.

There is no free wifi, and don't you find that is never a good sign, like a date who shows up with unwashed hair? The planes taxi very far to the gate, and the whole place is so strangely far from the actual city, with even car rentals over 2 miles away. Miles and endless miles of moving sidewalks. All this adds up to cost a lot of extra time, so plan for it. The Denver International airport parking is unbelievably, astronomically expensive - and far away. Who designed this place, anyway? ( not John Denver, he used to look really German, didn't he?) You absolutely must book a park and fly with a DIA airport hotel nearby, so they can shuttle you to your terminal .Hope they don't run out of gas on the way.

There must be something good I can say...oh, the food is acceptable, but the beer ( which has seasonal varieties on tap) is out of this world. You'll need it.
