I said gigantic because every single other review of DFW airport uses the word huge. Alright, but its so huge that you need a light rail to get to your connecting flight, and the Skylink itself takes a good ten minutes. Oh, and guess what, you'll pay a dollar or two just to drop someone off, without even parking. The staff takes good care of you, though, especially compared to other airports, but if you like to get in and get out, then too bad for you.

There's fast food galore, its a little like a mall, if malls were the size of stadiums. DFW airport parking isn't a bargain, terminal parking costs $14-17 a day, and remote parking costs $7 a day. By remote, I'm sure you know they mean "feels like out of state and running out of breath in heels to catch my flight because I couldn't find a sassafrassin parking spot" remote. Thankfully, we always use park and fly packages, so we wake up refreshed in a DFW hotel, and let them drive us to the terminal. That drop off surcharge bugs me, though. Not for the amount, of course, but the chintzy principle of it. Hey guys, you know there's oxygen in the airport you can ream your pitiful customers for too. We don't go out of our way looking for cheap flight tickets just to be extorted for whatever we've saved, in bits and neverending pieces. Anyway, if you're riding your bronco to the terminal, you should be aalright.

Be sure to leave extra time to get around this behemoth airport, though, and probably to shop.
