HPN airport is small and easily navigable and there's never much of a line at Security. I love that I don't have to arrive three hours prior to my flight and can be stress-free during my time here. This has really improved my outlook on the possible ease of traveling. I'm always hearing rumors that they are expanding and/or offering more flights to more places but I don't know that I'd want that. Your flight will be much cheaper here than flying out of JFK, LGA, or Newark.   You can  take Metro-North to White Plains, and then catch a taxi at the station circle. The ride to the airport is a flat $20. Warning: these aren't regulated city cabbies, and will most likely try to cram 2 sets of passengers into one ride. If this happens to you, negotiate the fare down, don't tip, or refuse to get in altogether, because you are entitled to a private ride. The alternative to this is a bus ride that takes 45 minutes to go about 10 miles, during which you will assuredly go insane, though I guess it's quite a lot cheaper. Of course the best option, and the biggest bargain, is to book a hotel and parking package, then drive there, relax in the nice Westchester Airport hotel and leave your car there for free while you vacation or whatnot. Just don't imagine in your wildest dreams that you will use Westchester Airport parking instead, which is a spine-tingling $28 a day, long-term. Uhm, no. I'll be relaxing in the hotel jacuzzi instead, but thanks.
