Cruises that start or end in Honolulu allow you to visit Waikiki beach, Pearl Harbor and more. The Honolulu cruise port is halfway between Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and Waikiki Beach. Most cruises dock at Piers 10 and 11, adjacent to the Aloha Tower Marketplace. Slicker and glitzier than you imagine, there are the usual (50+)exclusive shops, high rises and resorts along the beach, with half the beach marked off for surfers (thankfully). If you've booked a discount cruise, then good for you, you'll have more spending money. If you would like an idea for a nice HNL cruise port hotel that's easy(er) on the wallet, then try the Hawaii Prince Resort: close to the pier, beautiful views, no compromise whatsoever.

No one has ever been to hawaii and complained about anything but the ubiquitous pickpocketing ( and outright theft of whatever isnt nailed down), and the general cost. So, if you just exercise some care, or think of whatever you put down even for a moment as disposable, you'll have the trip you always dreamed of. Is there any place on earth more lovely?
