How can you not love medium sized airports! MLI is a great airport to fly from. Service to most of the bigger cities in the Midwest, East and South. Standard bar and small place to get a bit to eat and overall a really easy airport to get in and out of. Cell phone parking lot, and recliners inside the airport; pretty nice.

Long term Quad City Airport parking is $7 a day vs around $12 for short term parking. Easy in and out access from freeways and really simple place to navigate. Overall, a great place to fly from. You need to arrive inside an hour for your flight and when you do, you''ll still have 45 minutes to wait at the gate. Plenty of car rental places and a good number of Quad City Airport hotels in the surrounding area.For myself, I am not wild about bumpy rides on tiny planes, but if you don't care about that, this kind of airport is for you.
