So, we'll begin with the Miami Airport parking, and get that out of the way. According to everyone -EVERYone- personal friends, internet reviews; if you hate your car then just go ahead and park it in the MIA parking. Not just damage, but bizarre damage - the floor mats pulled up and turned over, wires ripped out, etc.  Here's my favorite quote, for brevity: " This is the place to park if you want damage to your vehicle, have it moved around every day and the management doesn't care, nor will they pay foir the damage they have caused". The End.

The airport itself is huge, and opinions differ widely on whether that means good huge or bad huge. Great stores and restaurants "you can eat for days". Some, however, minded that it seemingly took days to hike through it. Crowded and disorganized but clean and pretty, this is the main airport down here. If its cheap flight tickets you're after, then go to Fort Lauderdale airport and sqeeze yourself into one of their planes instead. And here's my usual palatable bargain hotel recommendation for the area: Hampton Inn Miami - Coconut Grove. Good - no, great- value - from $108. Extremely clean, the bathrooms and other thingies have been recently renovated. Efficiently run, central location, with a nice pool, and even a jacuzzi. And its quiet. Complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, very happy with the service. Keep in mind that most of the beach hotels here are $300+. Very impressed.
