Its Still a Hot Town

From the beautiful old "victorian ladies" houses to the greatest jazz clubs in the world, there is no place like New Orleans. If you're taking a New Orleans cruise, you should know that May to September is too hot and humid (unless you like that kind of thing), October and November are better, with Mardi Gras (french for fat tuesday) in December. This is the home port for Carnival, Norwegian and ACCL lines, and there are many New Orleans cruise port hotel options, although most people complain that long term parking here is too expensive ($16/Day), if you score a park and cruise package like we did, you'll stay in a nice hotel (we stayed at the Hilton ) and park for free. C'est trop cool, and a load off your mind + wallet.
