While planning my cruise, as well as when flying, I always take a peek at what others think of facilities and services I might choose from. Here are some actual excerpts of the experiences of real people who used Port Everglades parking:

'Used their "supposedly secure" lot for a week, and after paying found car had been ransacked, with belongings and cash stolen.' (people leave cash in their cars?for a week?)'Police asked to see surveillance video, as there was a sign posted "24 hr. surveillance cameras in use", but the employee admitted there weren't really any cameras. Would not give refund.' This poor woman felt that it was clearly the doing of the employees themselves, as no one else had access, and despaired of her losses (ipods, sunglasses, calculators, flashlights), even though she had paid extra for "security". Although I never park anywhere with even a hairpin that can be stolen in my car, its hard not to be put off by this story. Other reviewers were no happier, "some of the most unfriendly staff - very rude" etc.

Forget all that, I'm going the easy(and safe) way, using trusty park & fly packages.
