Comfortable seats and free wifi - for many people I can stop right there and they'll be happy. But wait - there's more. Its truly beautifully designed, your bags are brought up surprisingly quickly, and you are through security before you know it. People say "Sir" and Ma'am", and not sarcastically, either. Restaurants are a breeze to get to on the moving sidewalk, and the clean and pretty bathrooms are so spacious and well-appointed, you never want to leave. Room galore inside the stall for your bags (you heard me right, INSIDE,  don't get woozy now), and there is even a shelf.  So considerate, but that's North Carolina in a Nutshell; old-world gracious and thoughtful. This is made all the more dazzling by sheer contrast with the medieval tavern behavior prevalent just about everywhere else.

The Raleigh Durham Airport parking situation is not bad - there's a huge parking lot, and you don't have to travel a maze of loops to pick someone up there. The friendlly hospitality of the people here make both arrival and departure enjoyable. There are many charming RDU Airport hotels closeby, plenty of wde open spaces and food options inside, especially when you consider that this is not a large airport. All in all, you're certain to have a pleasurable experience here, they've seen to that.
